The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar recently organized interviews to evaluate candidates skilled in Digital Marketing and Graphic Designing. The purpose of this initiative was to identify creative and tech-savvy individuals who can help organizations grow in today’s competitive digital landscape.
Purpose of the Interview
The main objective of the interview was to find candidates who:
· Have basic in digital marketing areas such as SEO, SMM, SEM, content marketing, and email marketing.
· Are proficient in graphic designing software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other design tools.
· Possess a creative mindset, brand awareness, and an understanding of modern digital trends.
· Can work effectively in teams and manage digital campaigns independently.
Interview Procedure
The interview process was divided into two main stages:
1. Written Assessment
Candidates were asked to create a sample digital marketing strategy for a fictional brand along with a creative graphic design post.
2. Verbal Interview
In this phase, candidates were asked about their past experiences, design portfolios, marketing strategies, and technical skills. The panel focused on both creativity and the ability to implement practical solutions.
Key Interview Questions
Some of the key questions asked during the interview included:
· What’s the difference between SEO and SEM?
· Which social media platforms have you used for marketing campaigns?
· What has been your favorite graphic design project so far?
· Which Adobe Suite tools are you most comfortable with?
· If you were asked to design a full social media campaign in one week, what would your workflow be?
